Browsing without an account
You can use markets, asset pages, the calculator, converter and map without signing up. Your language, currency, theme and chart settings are kept in your own browser (localStorage), not on our servers.
We count page views per asset anonymously to show what's trending. We use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic; it sets its own cookies.
If you create an account
We store your email address, username and password (hashed by our authentication provider), plus the things you add: portfolio holdings, watchlist, price alerts, comments and likes. If you enable notifications we store a device token so we can send them.
If you connect a crypto wallet, its public address is used to read balances from public blockchain nodes; we never ask for keys or seed phrases.
Why we use it
Only to run the features you use — signing you in, syncing your portfolio across devices, sending the alerts and verification codes you asked for — and to keep the service secure. We don't sell personal data and don't show ads.
Where it is kept
Account data is stored in our database (Supabase/Postgres) and protected by row-level security, so other users cannot read your private data. Comments you post are public by design.
Your choices
You can edit or delete holdings, watchlist items, alerts and comments at any time. To delete your account and its data, or to get a copy of it, email info@investpig.com.
Changes and contact
If this notice changes, the date above changes with it. Questions: info@investpig.com.
